Sister Tanya has a loving spirit! So much so, that children love to be around her! No matter where she goes, there are children who love to spend time with her...and she with them. Just as she loves children, she also loves the Lord. She shows it by her involvement in ministry. She has volunteered to assist with Vacation Bible School, Women's Ministry, and Hospitality Ministry. She has also been the Master of Ceremony at Women Conferences and gives the church announcements because of her joyous spirit, comforting voice, and articulate vocabulary.
Tanya has a third love, that is, electronic media and communications. Over the years, with the vast electronic changes (i.e., cell phones, i-pads, computers, cameras, cable, etc...) that we have experienced globally; Tanya has done an excellent job with staying abreast with those changes. Because of her drive to want to learn more about electronic media, the Pastors asked if she would be the Director over the Media Ministry. She gladly accepted and is eager to aid Righteous Living Ministries in its media communications advancement!
Church Financial Advisor
Brother Ramon is one of the first members to join Righteous Living Ministries and believes in the vision that the Lord has for his church. He has a heart for the Lord and remembers serving in his local church in Saginaw, Michigan as an Usher when he was a child.
Ramon graduated from Grambling State University, with his Bachelors in Accounting. He has over 25 years in the Auditing/Accounting industry. As you can probably guess, he has a heart for numbers. He likes to make sure that all the i's are dotted and the t's crossed. That is why when the Pastors approached him to be the Church Financial Advisor, he had already considered serving in this area.
Sister Henrietta was raised in the church; receiving her religious teachings under the guidance and direction of the late Rev. C.L. Branch Sr. of Christland Missionary Baptist Church in Detroit, MI. Henrietta loves the Lord and possesses a welcoming personality. She has a genuine love for all of God’s people.
Within the community, Henrietta previously served for two years as a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) volunteer for Ingham County. CASA is a national volunteer organization that works with abused and neglected children. In addition, Henrietta has been a tireless advocate for her adult daughter who has a disability. Recently, Henrietta displayed her genuine hospitality by bringing a beautiful bouquet of flowers (in a lovely vase) as a gift while attending a church member’s home for dinner for the members of Righteous Living Ministries.
Due to her kindness and thoughtfulness, Pastors Richard and Stephanie Rosenthal asked Henrietta if she would be the Hospitality Director. Henrietta felt so humbled by their request and gladly accepted. She is very eager to assist Righteous Living Ministries in acknowledging our members life events as well as welcoming visitors to our church!
Proper etiquette is still very important. Hospitality is an action of love and warms the heart of the person it touches. God calls us to love everyone, including strangers. 1 Peter 4:9 (KJV) says, “Use hospitality one to another without grudging.”
Deacon Tim is a huge sports fan and loves his Miami teams (i.e., Dolphins, Heat, and Hurricanes). Tim also loves the Lord! In fact, before joining Righteous Living Ministries, Tim was attending a Monday night bible study just to learn more about the Lord and to fellowship with other Christian believers.
Since joining Righteous Living Ministries, Tim has not only been soaking up the word of God, but also serving in any area needed. Tim has a heart to do whatever the church needs, without hesitation. This is the main reason why the Pastors approached him and asked if he would consider being the church Deacon. He stated "that is my specialty."
